Bank alleges Jefferson Parish resident has not paid credit card balance

GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking damages from a customer who allegedly failed to pay an account.

Discover Bank filed a suit against Charles P. Vial in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant abused the use of the card through the accumulation of more than $1,000 without any payments.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,897.20 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
