GRETNA – An individual is being sued for money allegedly owed to Delgado Community College.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Brooke Benoit in the 24th Judicial District Court on Feb. 8.
According to the claim, the plaintiff delivered the defendant services which were valued at more than $1,300. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments to the plaintiff so far.
The defendant is accused of not paying the plaintiff on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking $1,323 plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and other charges. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
