NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was caused to slip and fall at a Nissan dealership.
Shantell Thomas filed a suit against Ferguson AG LLC, doing business as Nissan of New Orleans, and AmTrust North America Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Oct. 4.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was a guest at the Ferguson AG LLC's premises on Oct. 26, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured when she fell on a liquid that had been left on the title floor.
The defendants are accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by James C. Lawrence and R. Andrew Davis of New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
