Capital One Bank is seeking more than $10,000 for an allegedly open account

GRETNA – Capital One Bank claims that a woman failed to pay off more than $10,000.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Jessica L. Nuss in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 11.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant and the defendant then used the account to accumulate more than $10,000 in charges. The suit states that the defendant has thus failed to pay off the balance of the credit card.

The plaintiff is seeking $10,970.19 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Remy F. Symons, Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
