Capital One Bank claims that it is owed more than $1,700

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages for more than $1,700 on an allegedly open account.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Raj M. Tandon in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 10.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant, which the defendant then used to make more than $1,700 in purchases. The suit states that the defendant has not yet paid the balance off.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $17,753.22 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Remy F. Symons, Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
