Access Inc. accused of owing more than $4,000 for purchased supplies

GRETNA – A supply company alleges a Lafayette company did not pay for supplies purchased on credit.

Coburn Supply Co. Inc. filed a suit against Access Inc. and Steve Hansen in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 6.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was the distributor of plumbing supplies to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay the balance that the supplies cost, despite amicable demands that were made. The suit states that the defendant still owes the plaintiff more than $4,900.

The defendant is accused of open account and failure to pay in a timely manner.

The plaintiff is seeking $4,951.61 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Creighton B. Abadie of Lindsay & Abadie in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
