Ford alleges it is owed for more than $17,000 on auto loan

GRETNA – An East Baton Rouge Parish resident is alleged to owe more than $17,000 on an auto loan.

Ford Motor Credit Co. LLC filed a suit against Krish Sankar in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 17.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into a lease agreement for a 2015 Ford Focus. The suit states that since the date of signing, Sept. 3, 2015, the defendant has failed to keep up with payments on the car.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay.

The plaintiff is seeking $17,215.34 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Keith M. Frey of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
