GRETNA – Discover Bank alleges a Marrero resident failed to pay a credit card balance in full.
Discover Bank filed a suit against Oscar R. Galan in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 18.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated a balance on the card which he has failed to pay off.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $17,410.34 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Everette C. Altdoerffer and Peter S. Thriffiley in Edmond, Oklahoma.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
