GRETNA – Two Metairie individuals are seeking damages claiming that contractors caused damages to their property.
Frank M. Stuart and Sheree Lee Kerner filed a suit against Allied Building Co. Inc. and Crescent Foundations LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 18.
According to the claim, the defendants began pile driving on an adjacent lot in 2015. The suit states that defendants' work on the property caused the plaintiffs' pool and house to be damaged.
The defendants are accused of not exercising a reasonable amount of care.
The plaintiffs are seeking an unspecified amount in damages. They are represented by Michael L. Vincenzo and Daniel Serio of King, Krebs & Jurgens in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
