Former student accused of having open account with Delgado Community College

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish resident is alleged to have not paid fees for attending a semester at a community college.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Colby Bonck in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 11.

According to the claim, the plaintiff allowed the defendant to attend the institution for the fall 2013 semester. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off a balance of more than $1,000.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,069.44 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
