GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish resident allegedly owes nearly $5,000 on a Capital One card.
Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC filed a suit against Gina Davila in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 7.
According to the claim, Capital One Bank issued an account to the defendant. The suit states that despite enjoying the benefits of the account, the defendant failed to pay back more than $4,700 that she owed.
The defendant is accused of open account.
The plaintiff is $4,751.47 amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
