GRETNA – An African-American woman claims that she was discriminated against due to her race by her employers.
Tateisha K. Jones filed a suit against St. Theresa Specialty Hospital LLC and Glenda Troyo in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 14.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant in the admissions department. The suit states that the defendants discriminated against the plaintiff due to her race.
The defendants are accused of discrimination, harassment and failure to properly hire and train management personnel.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Lawrence J. Galle Jr.
