NEW ORLEANS – A community college is seeking payment from a former student.
Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Murphy Larry Antoine in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
According to the claim, the plaintiff admitted the defendant to the institution for the spring 2013 semester. The suit states that the defendant owes more than $800.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $846.90 damages. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
