Delgado Community College alleges former student owes more than $1,000

GRETNA – A community college is seeking damages for an allegedly open account.

Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 28.

According to the claim, the plaintiff allowed the defendant to attend the institution. The suit states that the defendant accumulated more than $1,000 in charges and failed to pay the plaintiff back.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,067.50 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Meghan N. Beal of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
