BATON ROUGE – Two companies allege they were not paid for materials provided to a Baton Rouge company.

Jamison Door Co. and HCR Inc. filed a complaint on Nov. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana against Southeast Material Handling LLC alleging that the company breached its agreement by failing to pay the amount owed.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that in May 2010, they entered into a business relationship with defendant wherein plaintiffs would provide certain equipment and materials to defendant for the full sum of $86,123.10.

The plaintiffs hold Southeast Material Handling LLC responsible because despite several requests for payment, the defendant allegedly continues to fail to pay the balance due.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendant for the amount due, plus interest, attorneys’ fees and costs and any other relief it deems fit. They are represented by Jeanette A. Donnelly of Southeast Material Handling LLC in New Orleans.
