Woman claims gas station air pump injured her

NEW ORLEANS – A woman alleges she was injured because of a malfunctioning air pump at a gas station.

Natasha Wilkins filed a suit against 5701 Bullard LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Dec. 7.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was using an air pump at the defendant's Chevron gas station property on Bullard Avenue when the pump malfunctioned and injured her. She alleges she sustained injuries to her right arm, right leg, neck and back and required medical treatment.

The defendant is accused of negligence through alleging failing to inspect and maintain the machine.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Stephen P. Bruno of Bruno & Bruno in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
