JPMorgan alleges promissory note customers owe nearly $140,000

GRETNA – JPMorgan Chase is suing two Jefferson Parish promissory note customers, alleging they owe nearly $140,000.

JPMorgan Chase Bank NA filed a suit Dec. 8 against Felton James Glapion and Pamela Joseph Glapion in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay off a promissory note.

According to the claim, JPMorgan is the holder of a promissory note issued by the Glapions. The suit states the defendants have failed to make payment on the note for $139,152.23, plus interest, despite stating they would do so.

JPMorgan Chase Bank seeks all money owed, court costs and attorney fees. It is represented by attorneys Daniel A. Reed, Lawrence R. Anderson Jr, Anthony J. Russo Jr. and Allison N. Beasley of Scale, Smith, Zuber & Barnette LLP in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767256.
