A. Williams Enterprises allegedly failed to fulfill full scope of contract

GRETNA – A Louisiana company is suing A. Williams Enterprises Inc., citing alleged breach of contract.

Douglas Cook Enterprises LLC filed a suit against A. Williams Enterprises, a general contractor, in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant failed to fulfill its contractual obligations of demolishing a parking lot, preparing a site for building and certain storm drainage and erosion control work. The plaintiff alleges that the defendant did some work but did not complete the entire scope of the work outlined in a proposal.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The company is represented by Stephen D. Scandurro of Scandurro & Layrisson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767462.
