Contracting business alleges it is owed $6,000

GRETNA – A contracting group alleges a client owes them $6,000.

120 West Partners LLC filed a lawsuit against Kimberly Herring Jan. 3 in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of contract and damages.

According to the claim, Herring entered into a shoring contract with Patterson Structural Moving and Shoring LLC on July 28, 2011. The suit states the contract was approved for a grant by the state of Louisiana and that Herring executed a promissory note for the completion of the shoring contract.

The suits states Herring has failed to pay the $6,000 due 120 West Partners. 

120 West Partners seeks the missing $6,000 plus interest, as well as attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Blake E. Oakes of The Oakes Law Firm LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767798.
