Construction company alleges customer owes $30,000

GRETNA – A construction company is suing a customer, alleging it was never paid for completed work.

Tim Clark Construction LLC filed a lawsuit against Elliott Struggs Dec. 29 in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay.

According to the claim, Struggs entered into a shoring contract with Tim Clark Construction and the contract was approved by the state of Louisiana for a specific grant. The suit states Struggs has failed to pay the plaintiff what it earned completing the work and is indebted the construction company for $30,000, plus interest.

Tim Clark Construction seeks the $30,000 due, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Blake E. Oakes of The Oakes Law Firm LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767755.
