Mortgage association alleges customer owes more than $270,000

GRETNA – A mortgage association is suing a customer, alleging a couple owes more than $270,000.

Federal National Mortgage Association filed a suit Jan. 5 against Yolanda Marie Wilson, wife of/and Tyrone Joseph Miles in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay.

According to the claim, Federal National Mortgage is the holder and owner of a promissory note that was executed by the defendants for $277,475. The suit states the note was to be paid off in installments for the purposes of a mortgage. However, the defendants have failed to pay off $275,051.90 plus interest, the lawsuit states.

Federal National Mortgage Association seeks the $275,051.90 due, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Louis Graham Arceneaux of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 767913.
