Bank of America alleges credit card customer owes more more than $30,000

NEW ORLEANS – Bank of America is suing a credit card customer, alleging an open account.

Bank of America NA filed a lawsuit Dec. 29 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Shane C. Landreaux of Orleans Parish, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, Bank of America issued a credit account to Landreaux that was used for $32,758.03 in charges and purchases. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of the account.

Bank of America seeks the overdue charges, all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorneys from Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
