Mortgage company alleges customer owes more than $200,000

NEW ORLEANS – A mortgage corporation is suing a promissory note customer, alleging she owes more than $200,000 for an unpaid debt.

Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation filed a lawsuit Dec. 16 against Beverly Ann Breaux (also known as Beverly Ann Turner, Beverly Ann McBride) in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging failure of payment of a promissory note.

According to the complaint, Federal Home Loan is the holder of a promissory note for the principal sum of $277,800. The suit states the mortgage was eligible for regular installments, but Breaux has failed to pay the full amount. The defendant is still indebted to the plaintiff for $218,129.64, plus interest, the lawsuit states.

Federal Home Loan Mortgage seeks the money owed, all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorneys from Lindsey G. Faulkner of Shapiro & Daigrepont LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
