GRETNA – A real estate company alleges two customers owe nearly $3,000.
Altisource Residential LP filed a lawsuit Jan. 6 against Audrey Phillips and Wayne Hawley Jr. in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging improper possession of property and unpaid fees.
According to the claim, Phillips and Hawley entered into a residential lease agreement Aug. 13, 2016, and the monthly fee to be paid by the defendants was $1,300. The suit states the defendants have failed to pay $2,700 of what they owe and that Altisource is entitled to repossess the property and terminate the lease.
Altisource Residential seeks the $2,700, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Mitchell D. Dickson of the Law Offices of Herschel D. Adcock Jr. LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
