Mortgage company seeks more than $50,000 for promissory note

GRETNA – A mortgage company is suing a customer, alleging an unpaid promissory note.

NationStar Mortgage LLC filed a lawsuit Jan. 11 against Eulogio Salazar Jr., also known as Eulogio Salazar, Eulogio G. Salazar and Eulogio G. Salazar Jr., in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to pay promissory note.

According to the claim, NationStar is the holder of a promissory note for $74,000, and Salazar has failed to pay off $50,494.55, plus interest.

NationStar Mortgage seeks the sums due, plus interest, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Lindsay G. Faulkner of Shapiro & Daigrepont LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768050.
