Investors allege developer owes $69,000

NEW ORLEANS – Two investors are suing a developer, alleging construction of a property they invested in was never completed.

Dannic Solutions Ltd. and Reign Industries LLC filed a lawsuit Jan. 3 against GDL Properties LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, GDL Properties is the owner of property at 3021-3023 Orleans Ave. in New Orleans and were desirous of converting the property into a single residence. The suit states the defendant sought out investors to pay for the cost of construction and other necessary charges.

The lawsuit states the plaintiffs jointly funded the construction, providing $69,025.89. , However, the suit states, the defendant stalled completion of the project and the plaintiffs seek full compensation of the missing funds.

Dannic Solutions and Regan Industries seek the $69,025.89, all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. They are represented by attorney William J. Wegmann of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
