NEW ORLEANS – A tenant is suing her New Orleans apartment complex, alleging the defendant's negligence caused her to suffer injuries.
Nicole Hill filed a lawsuit Jan. 17 against Cypress Park Apartments II LLC and XYZ Insurance Company in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, Hill was leasing the property at 2020 Cypress Acres Drive, New Orleans. On May 2, 2016, the suit says, Hill was caused to slip and fall down steps that had been left slippery and wet. The suit says she suffered injuries
The defendant is accused of failing to properly maintain the premises in a safe manner, failing to warn of the danger and overall negligence.
Hill seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney John D. Sileo in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
