Employment services company seeks more than $8,000 in open account

NEW ORLEANS – An employment services company is suing a bakery business, alleging it is owed more than $8,000 for services provided.

ASAP Employment Services Inc. filed a lawsuit Jan. 6 against Baker Ready Mix LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, ASAP Employment supplied staffing support to Baker Ready Mix in June 2015 and the the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for services provided. The suit says Baker Ready Mix is indebted to the plaintiff for $8,582.57, plus interest.

ASAP Employment Services seeks all money due, reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Michael T. Tusa Jr. of Sutton, Alker & Rather LLC in Mandeville.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.

Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 17-161.
