Shoring company alleges customer failed to pay for work

GRETNA – A shoring company is suing an Avondale customer, alleging she owes $30,000.

Crescent Shoring LLC filed a suit Jan. 25 against Joyace Gibson in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of contract and failing to pay what is owed.

According to the claim, Crescent Shoring and Gibson entered into an agreement for the completion of work at the defendant's property at 317 Senate Drive., Avondale. The suit states Gibson agreed to pay the plaintiff $30,000, but the defendant has breached the contract through failing to pay the plaintiff what is owed.

Crescent Shoring seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Michael C. Code of UBC LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768465.
