Credit union alleges customers owe more than $11,000

GRETNA – A credit union is suing two customers, alleging they owe more than $11,000 for a promissory note.

Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union filed a lawsuit Jan. 30 against Angela Marie Gross and Charde Gross of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the defendants are executors of a promissory note for the balance of $23,572.59. The suit states the Grosses were required to make monthly payments on the full sum but they have failed to do so and are still indebted to the plaintiff for $11,813.43, plus interest.

Jefferson Financial seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Joseph M. Mouton II of D'Aquila, Contreras & Vega in Kenner.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
