Bank alleges customers failed to pay off promissory note

GRETNA – A bank is suing a Jefferson Parish couple, alleging an unpaid promissory note.

First NBC Bank filed a lawsuit Jan. 31 against Kim C. Temes, wife of/and Albert W. Temes in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging failure to keep up with periodic payments.

According to the claim, the defendants executed a promissory note for the principal amount of $240,000, agreeing to make regular payments every two weeks. The suit states KIim and Albert Temes failed to pay as they had agreed and are still indebted to First NBC for the balance of $205,602.14, plus accrued interest and other charges.

First NBC Bank seeks all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Jeffrey K. Clement Jr. of First NBC Bank in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768596.
