GRETNA – Harley-Davidson is suing a Jefferson Parish customer, alleging he owes more than $7,000
Harley-Davidson Credit Corp, as assignee of Eaglemark Savings Bank, filed a suit Jan. 31 against Thomas W. Goodwin Jr. in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due on a motor vehicle.
According to the claim, Harley-Davidson entered into a promissory agreement with Goodwin for the purchase of a 2002 Black Harley-Davidson FXSTB Night Train for a certain price. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay the proper installments to fully pay up for the vehicle.
Not only did Goodwin fail to keep up with payments on the vehicle, the suit says, but also on the insurance of the vehicle. The defendant still owes the plaintiff $7,425.67, the lawsuit states.
Harley-Davidson Credit seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Remy F. Symons of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
