Transport company alleges customer owes $30,000

GRETNA – A transport company is suing a customer, alleging it owes $30,000.

GG Transport LLC filed a lawsuit suit Feb. 8 against F. Wells Transportation III LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account and breach of contract.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement for the completion of services to be done by GG Transport. The suit states F. Wells Transportation agreed to compensate the plaintiff for its labor but the defendant failed to keep its side of the contract.

The lawsuit states F. Wells Transportation has failed to pay the plaintiff the balance of what is owed, $30,000, plus interest.

GG Transport seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Matthew A. Sherman, Patrick R. Follette and Zachary R. Smith of Chehardy, Sherman, Williams, Murray, Recile, Stakelum & Hayes LLP in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 768876.
