Discover Bank alleges credit card customer owes more than $6,000

GRETNA – Discover Bank is suing a credit card customer, alleging she owes more than $6,000.

Discover Bank filed a lawsuit Feb. 1 against Mary Russo in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the bank allowed Russo to use a Discover Card. The suit states she has accumulated $6,273.36 on the card and has not paid it off.

Discover Bank seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorneys Everette C. Altdoerffer and Peter S. Thriffiley of Stephen Bruce & Associates in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
