GRETNA – A university is suing a former student, alleging she owes more than $2,000.
The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors, through the University of New Orleans, filed a lawsuit Feb. 10 against Tracey Alello Turner in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging open account.
According to the claim, the university allowed Turner to attend its institution for the spring 2015 semester. The suit states Turner accumulated a balance of $2,059 and has failed to pay off the account.
The university seeks all sums due and and court costs. It is represented by attorney Wendy Ranmarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
