GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish woman is suing a New Orleans clinic, alleging she suffered injuries from being thrown from a wheelchair.

Pamela Fogg filed a suit Feb. 14 against Ochsner Clinic Foundation in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.

According to the claim, Fogg was being pushed in a wheelchair at the Ochsner Clinic on March, 23, 2016. The suit says the wheels became stuck between some concrete slabs, throwing Fogg from the chair and onto the concrete and causing injuries.

The defendant is accused of negligently failing to keep the plaintiff safe, failing to maintain the premises in a safe state and overall negligence in the handling of the situation.

Fogg seeks all reasonable damages, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by attorney Thomas Corrington of The Corrington Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769056.
