Capital One alleges customer owes more than $28,000

NEW ORLEANS – Capital One is suing a computer service, alleging it owes more than $28,000.

Capital One NA, as successor in interest to Hibernia National Bank, filed a lawsuit Feb. 16 against @Site Computer Services LLC, also known as Site Computer Services, and Jarrod Broussard in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, in July 2001, Capital One issued a line of credit to the defendants for $24,000. The suit states the defendants increased that line of credit to $44,000 in January 2004. Since then, the suit says, Site Computer Services and Broussard have failed to pay back $28,366.47.

Capital One seeks all sums owed, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Bradley J. Chauvin of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
