Community college alleges student owes more than $1,000

NEW ORLEANS – A community college is suing a former student, alleging she owes more than $1,000.

  

Louisiana Community and Technical College system, through Delgado Community College, filed a lawsuit Feb. 17 against Terrion Maria Stevenson in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the college issued services to Stevenson for the fall 2013 semester. The suit states she has failed to pay the plaintiff $1,025.

Delgado Community College seeks all money owed and court costs. It is represented by attorney Wendy Ranmarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
