Linen service alleges customers failed to pay for services

GRETNA – A linen service company is suing a customer, alleging it owes more than $35,000. 

Loop Linen Service Inc. filed a suit Feb. 27 against Lasseigne's American Grill LLC and Ashely Martins and Philip Lasseigne, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of contract.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendants entered into a contract in December 2015 for the provision of linens. The suit states the defendants have failed to pay the plaintiff for services provided and are indebted for the balance of $34,721.36, plus late fees for a total of $35,575.08.

Loop Linen Service seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney Michael S. Futrell of Connick and Connick LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769472.
