Citibank alleges credit card customer owes more than $2,000

NEW ORLEANS – Citibank is suing a credit card customer, alleging she owes more than $2,000.

Citibank NA filed a lawsuit Feb. 27 against Whitney Harrell Barconey in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, Citibank issued a credit card Barconey who has failed to pay off a balance of $2,163.51.

Citibank seeks all owed sums, court costs and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Naomi A. Cohen Ivker of Birmingham, Alabama.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
