Mortgage company alleges customer owes more than $200,000

NEW ORLEANS – A mortgage company is suing a customer, seeking payment of a promissory note.

Standard Mortgage Corporation filed a lawsuit Feb. 21 against Davina A. Allen, also known as Davina Anouska Allen, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, Standard Mortgage is the holder of a promissory note, and Allen has failed to pay off the balance of $213,129.33, plus interest.

Standard Mortgage seeks all sums due, court costs and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Fred J. Daigle of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
