Credit company alleges Jefferson Parish woman owes more than $13,000

GRETNA – A credit company is suing a Jefferson Parish woman, alleging an unpaid balance.

VW Credit Inc. filed a lawsuit March 3 against Talaka N. Simmons in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, Simmons is indebted to VW Credit for $13,066.77, the remainder of a retail installment sale contract that was executed by the defendant for the balance of $29,211.84. The suit says Simmons has failed to keep up with the monthly installments.

VW Credit seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney G. Thomas Arbour of Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769647.
