Law money 10

NEW ORLEANS – A Louisiana limited liability company is accused of failing to pay for supplies.

Morgan City Supply of Louisiana Inc., Houma Distributors filed a complaint on March 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against D/B William Kallop and Offshore Specialty Fabricators LLC alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between June 23, 2016, and Oct.19, 2016, it supplied disposable equipment, tools and supplies to defendant Offshore that were used specifically during repairs undertaken to defendant D/B William Kallop. To date, a balance of $77,717.76 allegedly remains unpaid. The plaintiff holds D/B William Kallop and Offshore Specialty Fabricators LLC responsible because despite numerous amicable demands for payments, defendants allegedly failed to make payments for the said amount.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an order that the D/B William Kallop be seized, condemned and sold to satisfy all amounts owed to plaintiff; plus interest, costs, all attorney’s fees and such other just and proper relief. It is represented by William A. Stark and Evan M. Stark of Stark Law Firm in Houma.
