Jay Truck Services Inc. alleged to owe more than $190,000 on loan

NEW ORLEANS – A Harvey business an individual are alleged to alleged to owe on a loan for two trucks.

Mack Financial Services, a division of VFS US LLC, filed a complaint on March 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Jay Truck Services Inc. and Albert J. Phillip Jr. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 18, 2014, plaintiff loaned defendant Jay Truck Services the principal amount of $235,833.36 purchase two 2015 Mack trucks and that the transaction was guaranteed by defendant Phillip. To date, the balance amount of $196,705.15 allegedly remains due and owing.

The plaintiff holds Jay Truck Services Inc. and Albert J. Phillip, Jr. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed and/or refused to remit payments for the remaining balance due.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for the principal sum of $196,705.15, plus interest, late charges, attorneys' fees and all other costs of these proceedings.
