Rental company alleges construction business owes more than $23,000

GRETNA – A rental company is suing a construction business, alleging the defendant owes more than $23,000.

United Rentals filed a suit March 8 against Favalora Constructors Inc. in 24th Judicial District Court, alleging breach of contract and money due.

According to the claim, Favalora is indebted to United Rentals for the balance of $23,043.07. The suit states the defendant and plaintiff entered into an agreement of a credit application and contract in 2010, and that Favalora has refused to make payments as the parties agreed to in the agreement.

United Rentals seeks all sums due, attorney fees and court costs. It is represented by attorney W. Simmons Sandoz of Sandoz Law Offices in Opelousas.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
