U.S. Bank Trust files suit over promissory note

GRETNA – A bank is seeking damages for an unpaid promissory note.

U.S. Bank Trust, as trustee for LSF9 Master Participation Trust, filed a suit March 15 against Bryan Arena Sr., also known as Bryan R. Arena and Kathleen Piazza Arena, in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is the holder of a promissory note for the original balance of $138,227. The suit states that the defendants have failed to pay off the balance of the mortgage in a timely manner and are still indebted to the plaintiff for $132,330.12 plus interest and fees.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Rader Jackson of Jackson & McPherson LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 769964.
