NEW ORLEANS – A mortgage corporation is suing two customers, alleging they owe more than $100,000.
Standard Mortgage Corporation filed a lawsuit March 6 against Leslie Andrews Yancy, wife of and Kevin A. Yancy in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging sums due for failing to pay off a balance.
According to the complaint, Standard Mortgage is the holder of a promissory note for the balance of $142,373. The Yancys were required to pay off the balance of the note and are still indebted for $100,495.11, plus interest.
Standard Mortgage seeks all sums owed, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorneys Louis Graham Arceneaux, Stacy C. Wheat and Fred J. Daigle of Graham, Arceneaux & Allen LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
