Intreg8 Fuel Inc. alleges it is owed more than $150,000 for fuel supplied to vessel

NEW ORLEANS – A bunker fuel supplier alleges it was not paid for fuel it provided to a vessel.

Intreg8 Fuel Inc. filed a complaint on March 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against M/V Aggeliki B alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Jan. 18, 2017, plaintiff submitted an invoice for supplied bunker fuel to the defendant for $158,244.46. As of the filing of this complaint, said amount allegedly remains outstanding and is past due. The plaintiff holds M/V Aggeliki B responsible because despite repeated demands for payment, defendant allegedly refused to pay bunker fuel supplied by defendant.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $158,244.46, plus interest, attorney's fees and costs and such other just and proper relief. It is represented by A.T. Chenault and Michael A. Harowski of Fowler Rodriguez in New Orleans.
