GRETNA – A funding company is seeking damages for an open account.
LVNV Funding LLC filed a suit March 23 against Ava Lherisse of Westwego in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant a bank card, which was used to accumulate a balance of $2,348.80. The defendant has failed to pay off the balance.
The defendant is accused of failing to pay the plaintiff what was owed.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
