Barclays alleges Harvey woman failed to pay off card balance

GRETNA – A bank is seeking damages, claiming that a customer from Harvey failed to pay off a MasterCard debt.

Barclays Bank Delaware filed a suit against Julie P. Mataya in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued the defendant a MasterCard. The defendant used the card to accumulate a balance of $2,604.98. The defendant has failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 770255.
